Injury proof your workouts

The Weight Loss Journal has 4 tips to Injury Proofing Your Next Workout:

  1. Find the right balance ? Repeating the same exercises wears down your joins, so it is very important to keep a sporadic routine.
  2. Make sure you are using proper form ? Knowing how to do the exercise the correct way not only prevents injury but makes your workout more effective.
  3. Take a break ? This is important to give your muscles time to relax….but waiting too long will cause your muscles to cool down so you will need to stretch again.
  4. Follow the 10% rule ? When you start to see results you might be excited to jump up your workout but its important not to over do it so start by increasing your workout 10% until you reach the length that you want.
